The trusty old 95L and 5.8 combo again, dunno what I would do without it!

Arrived at beach about 9.30 a few others had already been out for nearly 2 hours saying it had died off now!

Rigged up anyway and started the slog upwind to the bar. Wind was a bit marginal so it took me about 30-45 minutes I guess. Once I was there the water was nice and flat with the odd 1-2 foot swell coming which was ok for jumping, albeit it a bit shallow.

After hour up there decided it was time for lunch, so had a little downwinder, not as good as I hoped it would be.

Went out after lunch at nearly high tide and it was lumpy bumpy. Wind had increased though!

Al in all nice 3 hours on the water, with a red face to prove it!
